The Union Grove girls golf team continued to play very well and placed first in their second consecutive KISD middle school tournament with Sumin Park, Ashley Turck, and Madison Camden taking first, second, and third place tournament medals overall. The district championship will be played on May 16th at Stonetree Golf course. Three Union Grove boys also competed in the medal round of the KISD middle school golf tournament at Clear Creek golf course. Tyler Barr, Tanner Wells, and Bobby Nailling played extremely well and all had personal bests. Two Eastern Hills boys competed in the medal round of the KISD middle school golf tournament at Clear Creek golf course. Triston Nelson shot 68 and “JT” Russ shot a 56 on nine holes, just missing the cut for the medals.
