Grizzly Tennis results

The grizzly tennis team played against Charles Patterson MS on Saturday. The wall of claws and teeth served up good matches against CPMS. Nhur Fernandez, Serenity Hoffman, Reagan Quinn, Cassidy Melvin and Grace Constance each played great but came up short in their matches. Rawan Tarabeh lost the finals match receiving 2nd place. Yazan Chtay won the 7th grade boys final match 6-2. Jeffrey Tran played Jaylin Rawls for the 8th grade boys final. Jeffrey Tran came out on top beating Jaylin 6-2. Overall the grizzlies played well. The grizzlies take the court again next Saturday at HHHS.

 

Union Grove 7th grade Boys soccer

The Union Grove Grizzlies 7th grade boys’ soccer team defeated the Palo Alto Patriots 4-2 last night.  Luca Lokker scored three goals completing his second hat trick of the season.  The other Grizzly goal was scored by Joseph Ahn.  Evan Ernst and Austin Dollard led the Grizzly defense.

Record:  3-0-1

 

Union Grove 8th grade Boys soccer

The Union Grove Grizzlies 8th grade boys’ soccer team defeated the Palo Alto Patriots 3-2 last night.  Mark Levin, Diego Fierro, and Cameron Howard each scored a goal in the Grizzlies’ victory.  Jack Byse and Quintin Howard led the Grizzly defense.

Record:  4-0

The Grizzlies will host Patterson in two weeks.

 

Union Grove 7th grade Girls soccer

The 7th Grade UGMS Grizzlies girls’ soccer team came out a little sluggish on Thursday evening, but they managed to get going after about ten minutes and never looked back. The Grizzlies defeated the Patriots 9-0 bringing their record to 4-0. The 7th grade Grizzlies have scored 32 goals on the season and only allowed one goal. Sarah Moffitt had four goals, Olivia Sullens had three goals, Kaniaya Blackmon and Reese Wilson each scored a goal. The shutout was led defensively by Clarissa Rodriguez, McKenzie Mansell, Keiley Tierce, Emily Blakeney, and Nora Heely.

 

Union Grove 8th grade Girls soccer

The 8th Grade UGMS Grizzlies found their winning ways again. They defeated the Palo Alto Patriots 3-0. The Patriots were led offensively by goals from Waverly Hairston, Aaliyah Hatton, and Camdyn Brothers. The shutout was led by great defensive play from Jasmine Crutcher, Gloria Kim, Caitlyn Whiteley, and Dezaraye Brown. The Lady Grizzlies will return be off next week and will return to play the following week at Patterson MS. Great Job Lady Grizzlies!
