Senator Dawn Buckingham will visit Central Texas College (CTC) at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 23 to receive an update on the school’s programs in relation to economic development and employment from Chancellor Jim Yeonopolus. This will be Senator Buckingham’s first visit to CTC since her election to the state Senate.
The briefing is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. in the chancellor’s office located in the CTC Administration building (Bldg. 109). Topics include health science programs and other in-demand programs which lead to employment opportunities for students. Also, Yeonopolus will brief the senator on future programs for transitioning soldiers.
Around 2:15 p.m. Senator Buckingham will be given a guided tour of the CTC nursing facility which may offer great photo/video ops.
