Three local students were named to the Distinguished Students list for the spring 2009 semester at Tarleton State University. Students on the list include freshman and sophomore students who have a minimum 3.25 grade point ratio (GPR) and no grade lower than a ‘C,’ and juniors and seniors who have a minimum 3.5 GPR with no grade lower than a ‘C.’ All must be in good standing with the university. 

The local students were Stephanie Redelk, who is majoring in Finance; Mark Shifflett, who is majoring in Exercise and Sport Studies; and Matthew Shifflett, who is majoring in Business Administration.

All three attend school at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus.
