host the annual summer camp program for children 8-10 years old, July 14-17 from 9:30 am to 12 pm. Each day participants will have fun activities and games focusing on different parts of Bell County history, like Native Americans, archeology, and the Chisholm Trail!

They will also view the traveling exhibit, “The Inspired Line: Selected Prints by Rembrandt & Dürer,” and learn how to make their own prints. Cost is $30 per child, which covers crafts, activities, and a snack for each day. Pre-registration is required.

Scholarships are offered for four campers, available through a generous contribution from an anonymous donor. Children who show proof of need, such as food stamps, free lunch, WIC, or Medicaid, may apply for this scholarship, which will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Contact Kristen Reichert, Program Coordinator, for an application.

The Bell County Museum is located at 201 North Main Street in Belton. To register for this event or for more information, call 254-933-5243, or email Kristen Reichert, Program Coordinator, at kristen.reichert@co.bell.tx.us.
