House fire also destroys cars and boat

The Harker Heights Fire Department received a dispatch from Bell County 911 Center on December 29 at 6:09 AM for a reported structure at 1107 Alberta Circle in Harker Heights. The Harker Heights Fire Department responded with One Engine company, One Quint company, two ALS Medic units. Killeen Fire Department responded with one Engine with a mutual aid request for the possible need for additional personnel.
First arriving units arrived on scene to find single family residence with flames coming from the roof and side of house. Firefighters entered the structure and had the fire out at 06:29 AM. Heavy damage occurred to the inside of the structure and outside car port. Two vehicles and a boat were also destroyed during the fire. A residence adjacent to the fire received minor damage from the radiant heat of the fire.
Three people lived in the residence and are receiving assistance from Red Cross. No injuries were sustained to the occupants or firefighters on scene.
Fire Investigators were summoned to the scene to complete a thorough investigation. The fire is still under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s office at the time of this press release.
