On February 17, there will be a grand opening for Bellah Therapies LLC newest location in Harker Heights. After out-growing their smaller location, Bellah Therapies has decided to revamp and expand in order to accommodate their patients. The grand opening will take place off Knights Way, on 1200 E. FM 2410, suite D at 6 p.m. Founded by Dr. Isabel Northington in 2009, Bellah Therapies aims to provide a holistic, healing approach to physical therapy. According to their official website, “From the soldier back from deployment with injuries, to the mother who is post-partum, or a baby born with neurological complications leading to motor delays, even the athlete struggling with performance due to pain; there is a place for everyone in need of physical therapy at Bellah Therapies.”
As a doctor of physical therapy, Mrs. Northington has created multiple customized programs that aid to her patient’s specific needs. From orthopedics or pediatrics, to women’s health and sports rehabilitation, Bellah Therapies strives to help everyone.
The grand opening will be combined with a wellness seminar, according to husband, personal trainer, and chief financial officer, Daniel Northington II. “Our focus is a natural approach to healing. The seminar will include multiple vendors and information that encourages people to explore new ways to heal themselves,” he says. “There is going to be a wide spectrum of tools that we are eager for the public to come and learn about.” There will be information on supplements, nutrition, and various other products that Mr. Northington says could be hindering your health. Mr. Northington also says they’ve not only expanded in size, but in personnel. “We’ve added three new therapists to our staff, and they each specialize in something different.”
Despite their expansion, Mr. Northington stresses their primary concern will always be quality, not quantity. “We welcome the growth, but we want to remain personal in order to facilitate everyone’s needs one on one. From the beginning, we always kept patient sessions private, personal, and one at a time. We aim to always keep it that way.”
